It's been a long hot summer but it would seem that Autumn is arriving at some speed. Here at Rufus we've been listening to the amazing remix of Made in Japan and then we thought, how about a Rufus Deep Purple Competition? So, we ordered an extra copy of the new Made in Japan Vinyl Box Set (£279) and we've put this together with the Deep Purple Visual History (£350 and personally signed by six classic band members and featuring a great section on the Japanese gigs featured in the recordings) and then we found our last remaining copy of Ross Halfin's book on Ritchie Blackmore (£199 and resplendent in recycled white leather and black slipcase) plus two Portraits books (£55 each) featuring Gillan and Rainbow's Dio Years. The whole package (inc delivery) is worth more than £900.

THE RULES:

  • Make any fully paid purchase from our store between September 1st and midnight on September 30th 2025 and you will automatically be entered
into the draw to win the Deep Purple Collection described above.
  • Orders placed in instalments will not be accepted. If you make several purchases in September your name will be entered for each transaction.
  • On October 1st 2025 the names of all the purchasers will be placed in a hat and the winner will be drawn at random by an independent adjudicator.
  • The winner will be notified by email or telephone and the books will be sent via courier.
  • The winner maybe liable to customs duty depending on the country they live in.
