Ian Hunter
Ian Hunter’s influence spans over half a century. Queen, The Clash, Blue Oyster Cult, and Morrissey have all cited or covered him, while Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott dubbed him his “rock god.” His shadow looms over acts as varied as Oasis, and The Struts. Bruce Springsteen called him “one of rock’s great voices,” and Bob Dylan publicly praised his lyricism. Ian Hunter remains one of British rock’s elder statesmen; respected, relevant, and still playing and recording music.
As Joe Elliott says, "To me, Ian is as timeless as his music which is a constant in my life; always has been, always will be.”
